The sun does arise,                                              

= সূর্য্ ওঠে,  (arise-অ্যারাইজ)

And make happy the skies.

= এবং আকাশকে খুশি করে তোলে ।

The merry bells ring                                           

 = আনন্দময় / আনন্দপূর্ন্ ঘন্টাগুলি বাজে (merry-মেরি)

To welcome the spring.                                            

= বসন্তকে স্বাগত জানাতে ।

The skylark and thrush,

= স্কাইলার্ক্    এবং    থ্রাসপাখি

The birds of the bush,

= ঝোপঝাড়ের পাখিরা, (bush-বুশ)

Sing louder around,

 = চারপাশে উচ্চস্বরে গায়, (louder-লাউডার)

To the bells’ cheerful sound,

= ঘন্টার আনন্দময় শব্দের সাথে, (cheerful-চিয়ারফুল)

While our sports shall be seen                                    

= যখন আমাদের খেলা দেখা যাবে

On the echoing green.

 = প্রতিধ্বনিত সবুজের উপরে / বুকে। (Echoing-ইকোয়িং)

Old John with white hair

= পাকা চুল (ওয়ালা) –এর বৃদ্ধ জন

Does laugh away care,                                             

= দুশ্চিন্তাকে সরিয়ে দিয়ে হাসে,

Sitting under the oak,

= ওক গাছের নীচে বসে ,

Among the old folk.

 = বৃদ্ধ মানুষদের দলের মাঝে । (folk-ফোক)

They laugh at    our   play,

= তারা আমাদের খেলা দেখে হাসে,

And soon they all say:                                     

= এবং শীঘ্রই তারা সকলে বলে ,

‘Such, such were the joys

= এমন এমনই ছিল আনন্দ

When we   all,  girls and boys,

= যখন আমরা সকলে বালক – বালিকা ছিলাম,

In     our     youth-time were seen

= আমাদের ও দেখা যেত যৌবনেকালে

On the echoing green.’

= প্রতিধ্বনিময় সবুজের উপরে ।

Till the little ones weary

= ছোট্ট (ছেলে-মেয়ে গুলি) শিশুরা ক্লান্ত হয় (Weary-ওয়্যারি)

No more can be merry;

= তারা আর আনন্দ করতে পারে না ;

The sun does descend,      

= সূর্য্ অস্ত যায়, (decend-ডিসেন্ড)

And our sports have an end.

= এবং আমাদের খেলা শেষ হয় ।

Round the laps of their mother

 = তাদের মায়ের কোলের ধারে (laps-ল্যাপস)

Many sisters and brothers,

= অনেক ভাই ও বোনেরা

Like birds in their nest,

= ঠিক পাখিরা  যেমন তাদের বাসায়,

Are ready for rest;

= তাদের বিশ্রামের জন্য প্রস্তুত হয়;

And sport no more seen                                 

= এবং তাদের খেলা আর দেখা যায় না

On the darkening green.

= অন্ধকারাচ্ছন্ন সবুজের ওপর / বুকে । (darkening-ডার্কেনিং)
