HEAD AND COLLISION BETWEEN A LORRY AND A BUS

                                                                  -By a staff Reporter

College Street, April 5 :  A tragic road accident took place near College Street, yesterday at about 11am. A private bus packed with passengers was coming towards the morh at a top speed. A lorry loaded with bricks was also coming from the opposite side. The driver of the lorry failed to control over the steering. So, the bus collided with the lorry. As  a result 5 passengers including a child and woman were seriously injured. Immediately after the accident the local people jumped into rescue work. Police also reached the spot after some time. The injured persons were taken to the local hospital by the local people and police. 3 of them were let off after first-aid and rest were hospitalised. The driver of the lorry fled away. The angry mob set the lorry on fire. Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area.
