Suppose the following day the monkey met his friend, another monkey, and told him what had happened. Discuss with your partner and tell the class what they said to each other. Same clues are given for you:

1st Monkey   :  Hello ! How are you ?

2nd Monkey :     Fine .   How are you  ?

1st  Monkey   :       I’m all right. Do you know  I got in a great trouble.       

2nd Monkey :    No, tell me please !

1st Monkey  :   A big crocodile tried to catch me on my way to home.

2nd Monkey :     But how did you safely  return home?

1st  Monkey   :      I wasn’t afraid . I told him to open his mouth wide and I would jump into his mouth.     

2nd Monkey  :  Then ?

1st Monkey  :     I jumped  upon his head  and then  quickly jumped back to river bank.          

2nd  Monkey  :      Really ? You’re  brave as well as clever.

Let’s write a short story in eight sentences with the flowing hints. Give it a title:

A fox fell into a well – failed to get out – a goat came – fox asked goat to drink water from the well – goat jumped in – fox climbed on the goat’s back – got out – goat remained in the well.

A CLEVER FOX AND A FOOLISH GOAT

Once a fox was moving around a village. He wasn’t careful. Suddenly, he fell into a well. He tried hard but failed to get out. Suddenly a  goat came there. The clever fox asked the goat to drink water from the well. The foolish goat jumped into the well. The clever fox climbed on the goat’s back. He jumped to get out of the well. The goat remained in the well.
