Sir,

     Through the columns of your esteemed daily I want to ventilate my concern over thoughtless use of loudspeakers.                 

                       Of-late the misuses of microphones  have now become a menace of our daily  life. In different social, religious and political gatherings loudspeakers are used from dawn to midnight. They are played at full volume. It has become a torture of public life. This becomes unbearable to all. It is a serious source of sound pollution. People suffer from deafness, heart problem, sleeplessness due to this. Students and patients are the worst sufferers.  Students cannot study and patients cannot sleep properly. This nuisance must be stopped immediately. Administration is found to be the silent observer at this mental torture.

                                  I shall, therefore, feel obliged if you kindly publish the above in your esteemed daily with a few to drawing the attention of the proper authorities to this matter.
