১) ফলে ৪০ জন মারা গেল । [ As a result at least 40 persons / passengers were killed.]
২) প্রায় ২২ জন গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন । [ At least 22 persons were seriously injured. ]
৩) দুর্ঘটনার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে স্থানীয় লোকজন উদ্ধার কার্যে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েছিলেন । [ Immediately after the accident the local people jumped into rescue work. ]
৪) আহত লোকজনদের স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে ।
[ Injured persons were taken to the local hospital by the local people and police. ]
৫) তাদের মধ্যে ৩ জনকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার পর ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং বাকীদের ভর্ত্তি করে নেওয়া হয়েছে ।[ 3 of them were let off after first aid and rest were hospitalised. ]
৬) ভীতি এবং উত্তেজনা গোটা এলাকায় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে ।।[ Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area. ]

Sealdaha, February 28 : A devastating fire broke out in the 2nd floor of Surya Sen Market yesterday at about 3.30 am. A dense smoke was first seen by a small trader beside the building. According to that eye-witness dense smoke was billowing out from several windows. Soon people gathered to see the deadly flame of fire. 5 people jumped from the window and were badly injured. Fire fighters came on the spot after four hours. The fire was brought under control after five hours heart and soul effort. Mean while several shops were gutted. Huge valuable papers were also destroyed. At least 10 people were killed. Over 42 persons were injured. Local people also joined with the fire fighters in rescue work. The injured passengers were taken to the nearby hospital by them. It was suspected that the cause of this tragedy was a sort from a circuit . Immediately after the accident the Chief Minister rushed on the spot. She announced Rs. 2 lakh for the family of each dead and Rs. 1 lakh for each injured person. College Street, 5 October : yesterday at about 3 a.m. a devastating fire broke out in the third floor of a multi storeyed building at College Street. According to official sources the fire was first seen by a hawker who saw smoke billowing out of a window. He made a Hue and cry and people around rose to see the flame of fire. Soon five engines of the fire brigade rushed to the spot and after fighting hard for hours brought the fire under control. Meanwhile the library computer system and many other valuables and record inside the building where completely gutted. At least two persons are reported to have been killed and 7 others seriously injured in this fire. The cause of the accident is not yet known. A departmental enquiry has however been ordered. Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area.

DEVASTATING FIRE IN BANGUR HOSPITAL

Kolkata, August 6 : At least twenty two persons killed and 120 others injured when a major fire broke out at Bangur Hospital. The fire was suspected to have started from the dialysis word of the hospital located on the first floor. It was possibly due to an electric short circuit around 7:30 p.m. in the evening. From there it was spread to the ICU and other words. Hospital officials said at the time of the incident more than 100 people were present in the building. At least 75 attendance were put into service to control the blade and over a dozen ambulance deployed to shift the critical present to the other hospitals. Many patients escaped by breaking window panes. The state government has ordered a high-level investigation . Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area.

FIRE IN GOLF FIVE AT KULPI MARKET

Kulpi, October 2: 5 persons where died and 4 got injured when a devastating fire broke out at Kulpi market last night. All the persons were vegetable sellers. They were then in the market. The most probable cause behind the incident was electric circuit. The local people rushed to the spot when they heard a loud noise. Immediately they informed the fire brigade. 2 fire engines reach the spot within half an hour. They were able to put out the pledge after 2 hours non-stop struggle. The injured persons were taken to the nearby Government hospital. Investigation was going on to detect the cause of the accident. Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area.
