My Village Paragraph

MY VILLAGE

The name of our village is Rajapur. It is situated in the district of Howrah. It is a beautiful village. There is a high school, a primary school and a post office. Three thousand people live here. Most of the villagers are farmers. The houses are brick made of mud. Some houses are brick built. All the villagers are honest and simple. The climate of our village is healthy. We are proud of our village.   [ 75 words ]

MY VILLAGE

Radhanagar is the name of my native village. It is in the district of North 24 Parganas. The neighbouring country Bangladesh is very close to our village. The nearest  railway station is 25 kms away from the village. The river Ichhamati flows through our village. Most of the villagers are farmers. They grow crops and supply food to nation. Fields of corns stretch miles after miles. About two thousand people live here. They are of different religions like—Hindus, Muslims and Christians. They all live together happily. The villagers are very simple and honest. We live here peacefully. I love my village very much. [ 100 words ]

MY VILLAGE

The name of my village is Senpur. It’s near a railway station. About one thousand people live in our village. There is a primary school and a high school in our school. There is also a post office in our village. There is no Hospital in our village. We cannot have any good doctor. So we have to go to the nearby town for treatment. Most of the villagers are farmers. They grow paddy and different kinds vegetables. In the rainy season roads become muddy. But we get open air, pure milk and fresh fish and vegetables. The villagers are very simple. They live together happily and peacefully.   [ 100 words ]

MY VILLAGE

The name of my village is Sonajhuri. It is in the district Bankura. It is very calm and quiet. Sometimes it becomes festive. There are one thousand six hundred people in our village. Most

of the villagers are farmers. There are teachers and doctors also. But most of the villagers suffer from economic security and freedom. The villagers are at present employed in cultivation only for a part of the year, for the rest of the year they are unemployed. Cottage industry and small industries are increasing to make them free from the clutches of poverty. There is a post office, a primary school, a health centre and a high school in our village. Education is free and compulsory here in the school. The villagers are honest, peaceful and happy. They love each other My village is like a dream to me. [ 140 words ]

MY VILLAGE

I live at Kedarpur, a small village in Burdwan district. The population of the village is around one thousand.  Most of them are farmers}, few are small traders. Our village has one primary school, a sub Post office and a primary health centre. Besides, there are a Police  outpost and a block office which serve greatly to the needs of the villagers. The village has few kutcha roads, tanks and playgrounds. In our village, we all lead a happy social life with occasional Pujas, jatras and melas. The gram panchayet looks after our welfare. The villagers though faced with many disadvantages, are on the whole happy and contented. The inhabitants are all simple and decent. They are united by mutual love and fellow- feelings and stand by one another in times of need. Our village life is very peaceful and it is free from the din and bustle of a city life.    [ 150 words ]
