৪) এইগুলি হল প্রাথমিক কাজ । প্রথম বাক্যটি হবে ঘটনাটি -১) কি?, ২) কোথায়?, ৩) কখন ঘটেছে তা লেখা । যেমন —
i) A tragic road / train / boat / plane accident took place near Bagnan yesterday at about 3p.m. [OR ]
ii) A ghastly road / train / boat / plane accident claimed 12 lives yesterday, near Bagnan at about 3p.m.
কতকগুলি বাক্য্ যেগুলি যে কোনো দুর্ঘটনায় লেখা যায় —
১) বাস ও লরির মুখোমুখি ধাক্কা হল । [ The bus collided with a lorry. ]
২) ফলে ৪০ জন মারা গেল । [ As a result at least 40 persons / passengers were killed.]
৩) প্রায় ২২ জন গুরুতর আহত হয়েছেন । [ At least 22 persons were seriously injured. ]
৪) দুর্ঘটনার সঙ্গে সঙ্গে স্থানীয় লোকজন উদ্ধার কার্যে ঝাঁপিয়ে পড়েছিলেন । [ Immediately after the accident the local people jumped into rescue work. ]
৫) আহত লোকজনদের স্থানীয় হাসপাতালে নিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে ।
[ Injured persons were taken to the local hospital by the local people and police. ]
৬) তাদের মধ্যে ৩ জনকে প্রাথমিক চিকিৎসার পর ছেড়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে এবং বাকীদের ভর্ত্তি করে নেওয়া হয়েছে ।[ 3 of them were let off after first aid and rest were hospitalised. ]
৭) ভীতি এবং উত্তেজনা গোটা এলাকায় ছড়িয়ে পড়েছে ।।[ Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area. ]
-একটি Road Accident –এর মনুনা, এটা থেকেই সমস্ত লেখা যাবে শুধু Point –গুলো অনুসরন করতে হবে ।

College Street, April 5 : A tragic road accident took place near College Street, yesterday at about 11am. A private bus packed with passengers was coming towards the morh at a top speed. A lorry loaded with bricks was also coming from the opposite side. The driver of the lorry failed to control over the steering. So, the bus collided with the lorry. As a result 5 passengers including the driver of the bus were killed. At least 15 passengers were seriously injured. Immediately after the accident the local people jumped into rescue work. Police also reached the spot after some time. The injured persons were taken to the local hospital by the local people and police. 3 of them were let off after first-aid and rest were hospitalised. The driver of the lorry fled away. The angry mob set the lorry on fire. Terror and bereavement loom large in the entire area. [ Words – 145 ]

College Street, February 15, 2022: Common people, busy with their everyday work, had to witness the death of a school girl in front of their eyes here today. They seemed really helpless when a girl on her way to school was run over by a speeding bus at about 10 a.m. near College Street More. The bus was in competition with another and running at high speed. All on a sudden it appeared in front of the girl. The driver at the last moment lost control. It ran straight over the girl. The driver of the bus managed to flee but the conductor was caught by the public. He was handed over to the local police. The bleeding girl was then carried to the local hospital but declared dead by the doctors. The agitated mob burnt down the bus on the spot. The police-force came and brought the situation under control.

A Horrible Road Accident

Durgapur, January 15, 2022: : A tragic road accident took place near Durgapur Market yesterday at about 8am. It was normal beginning of a day. A bus packed with passenger was coming towards the market. Suddenly a speeding mini-bus tried to overtake bus. The mini-bus lost its control and went to the footpath, breaking the roadside railings. In a flash people standing on footpath were knocked down. Some passengers inside the mini-bus got injured. As many as 5 persons were killed on the spot. And the actual number of injured was yet to be calculated. With the help of the local people started the rescue operation. The injured were at once taken to nearby hospital. People staged a demonstration protesting against the traffic police. However, strong safety measures were announced to recurrence of such accidents. It took about an hour for the police to make whole situation under control.
