1) The world around us is green with trees.
= আমাদের চারপাশের জগত গাছপালায় সবুজ । (around-অ্যারাউন্ড)
2)Trees are our best friends.
= গাছেরা আমাদের সর্বশ্রেষ্ঠ বন্ধু ।
3) Trees are of many kinds.
= গাছের বিভিন্ন রকমের হয় ।
4) Some are big.
= কিছু গাছ বড় ।
5) Some are small.
= কিছু গাছপালা ছোট ।
6)Like us, a tree also has life.
= আমাদের মত একটি গাছেরও জীবন আছে ।
7) It has roots.
= এর মূল / শিকড় আছে ।
8) Roots go deep into the soil.
= মূল /শিকড় মাটির গভীরে যায় ।
9) They help a tree to draw water and provide strong support.
= তারা একটি গাছকে জল টানতে/ শোষণ করতে সাহায্য করে এবং শক্ত অবলম্বন দেয়।

= গরু ,ছাগল, ভেড়া এবং অন্যান্য প্রাণীরা পাতা এবং ঘাস খেয়ে বেঁচে থাকে ।
16) Trees give us beautiful flowers, too.
= গাছেরা আমাদের সুন্দর ফুলও দেয় ।
17) The green world gives us many other wonderful gifts.

18) We get different medicines from plants.
= আমরা গাছেদের থেকে বিভিন্ন ঔষধ পত্র পাই । (medicines-মেডিসিনস)
19) Trees give us shade.
= গাছ আমাদের ছায়া দেয় । (shades-শেডস)
20) Wild animals like tiger, lion, deer, elephant etc. live in forests.
= বাঘ, সিংহ, হরিণ, হাতির মতো বন্যপ্রাণীরা জঙ্গলে বাস করে ।
21) We get wood from trees.
= আমরা গাছেদের থেকে কাঠ পাই ।
22) Trees bring rain, too.
= গাছেরা বৃষ্টিও আনে ।
23) The green forests invite rain.
= সবুজ জঙ্গল বৃষ্টি আনে ।
24) Trees hold the soil together with their roots.
